I'm sitting here reading a Bo Bunny blog entry about their new Snowfall collection and I'm just thinking it's not me. I have it sitting in my Crop Chocolate shopping cart but I'm not going to get it. It's faded colors that have a vintage or distressed look.
That leads me to think what is my style? I like bold clear prints in neutral colors. I don't like shades that are too bright like Whooligans. I also don't like a very busy background page. I also don't like alot of pink or girly shades like Kissing Booth. I like simple and basic embellishments that don't draw attention away from the photos. I like streamlined multi-photo layouts where the focus is on the pictures not the artwork.
Here's some examples from my old layouts

TubTime
Sorting through some old files and found this layout I entered in a challenge at 52 sketches last year. It's so simple and Anthony is so adorable (he's going to kill me when he grows up). I'm going to have to try using this sketch again. Maybe with those sea lion pics I've been trying to scrap for 6 months.

Cats!!!
I confess I'm just not a cat person. I've tried but my nose just can't get along with them. That said though I love the layouts I just came across on Lexidh's Google+ page. The sketches are just wonderful and the cats are adorable. Go check her out.

In memory of a new angel
Over the last few years I've followed Paper Haven regularly. First for her amazing card designs and then for her battle against cancer. Katie Renz was a young woman about my age with three small boys. Yesterday her husband Kevin reported that she was finally able to end her fight and find peace at 5 am yesterday morning. My prayers go out to Kevin and her sons.

Made by Manda
Still cleaning house so I haven't done any crafting of my own. In sorting through my email though I came across Manda's blog and just wanted to give her a shout-out. I don't know about you but I struggle constantly trying to figure out what to do with scraps. She has some great ideas how to use those little edges or scraps that I would normally throw out. Since organizing my scraps is on my to-do list I'm definitely going to keep her projects in mind. Just love this layout of hers. Go check out her blog
Do you have any new ideas on what to do with scraps?

Hot Chocolate
Other than just the great prices one of my favorite parts of shopping at Crop Chocolate is the Hot Chocolate. Unpacked my last two orders today and here's what was in the hot chocolate.
When you check out from CropChocolate, there is the option to add an item called "Hot Chocolate". It's a grab bag for $2.49 and worth at least $5 (we've all decided it's typically more than that!)
