I need a second opinion

What do you think of the flower on the upper left side? Is it too much or should it stay?

A Humorous Take on Valentine's Day

Take My Heart Don't Set It Free

I got this fun die-cut poem from a swap and I knew I had to use it for a card. The pattern paper has a sticthed design and then I used a needle and some fiber to give the die-cut also a stitched feel as well. The background paper is DCWV. I don't remember who the accent is piece is by.

Love with Kisses

When I saw the DCWV Rockstar mat stack this sheet just said Valentine's Day to me. It took me forever to find embellishments that worked with it without overpowering it. I chose a contrasting light pink in two different shades for a Cricut die-cut and a glittered flower from K & Co.
All of this is put together on a scalloped A2 cardstock base.

This card meets the Paper Variety pink and black challenge.

Home is Where the Heart Is

I combined a couple of sketches and came up with this fun card. The background is made from a lightweight paper with cuttlebug embossing.

This card made the requirements for The House that Stamps Built and Get Sketchy

Lots of Hearts

Friday night I went to a crop determined to begin scrapping Valentine's Day cards for my etsy store. With a case full of diecuts, stickers, cardstock, ribbon, patterned paper, rub-ons and a variety of embellishments I went to work. Over the next few days watch as I how you what I created. Majority of them will be available for sale in my etsy store but if you want something special e-mail me for a personalized creation.

Glitterbabes put out a cute sketch this week

Here's my twist on it (note the glittered paper used on the patterned strip)

This card also meets the Pollycraft "New Things" challenge. The stickers are new from a package that I FINALLY opened from last Valentine's Day.

As well as Lexi's Creation's "Say It with Love" Challenge and the Top Tip Tuesday "Anything Goes" challenge

I honestly don't remember who made the patterned papers but the sticker is S.E.I. (I think). The die-cut hearts are all cut from Cricut with the George cartridge.

My top 10 favorite projects of 2010

I've seen so many different blogs posting top 10 favorite layouts so thought I'd post mine

General Greeting Cards

I made these two sets using kits from Target. They included card bases, flowers, buttons, bling, 3D embellishments, and stickers. I added some ribbon and sentiments and made some really cute cards. I intended to sell them on my etsy site but the quality of the card bases isn't as strong as I usually sell. I prefer to only use premium cardstock as the bases.

They're really cute cards for my own personal use though.

Christmas Chipboard Album

A few months ago I made plans to do a blog hop with my friends at Scrappin n Chattin. Internet struggles kept me from following through though. The theme was "favorite things" and I chose bling.

Bling can just brighten up any project. This project is of my Christmas decor from 2009. As I prepare to move I knew I wouldn't be able to decorate this year so that would be the last time decorating that apartment.

I wanted a memorable way to hold onto those memories

I used this Christmas chipboard album kit from Me & My Big Ideas as the main portion of my project. It comes with pre-cut shaped paper and stickers to create a great Christmas album.

I used a "Merry Christmas" bling title and stickers with bubbles, bells and bling accents to give this album that unique 3-D touch.
